Antenatal classes

At the Nordsjælland's Hospital, Hillerød (NOH), we provide antenatal live webinar classes for pregnant women and their partners who plan to deliver at NOH.

The antenatal webinars are held by midwives, who will tell you about delivery, what will happen, and what to expect. She will answer all the questions you might have. At the moment these webinars are only in Danish.

Below an antenatal video class with English subtitles.

Time: 65:50

In this video a midwife from Hvidovre Hospital talks about the time before, during and after birth. She tells about the options for giving birth at home, at the maternity clinic and in the delivery room.

Talk to your midwife about what is important to you when you give birth and how you would like the birth to take place.

Babies arrive when they are ready. First-time mothers are on average four to seven days over 40 weeks. Only five percent deliver on their due date, 95 percent deliver before or after, and most deliver after. A perfectly normal pregnancy is one that lasts between 37 and 42 full weeks.
