About your visit
We have examined you and we have ascertained that you may have a blood clot in the deep veins in your arm, leg or pelvis. Deep veins are the blood vessels that return blood to the heart from the smaller blood vessels in the body. We have treated you with a blood-thinner to make sure that a possible blood clot dissolves.
You will have to have an ultrasound scan to establish whether or not you have a blood clot.
You have an appointment at Akutafdelingen (Emergency department): on ___day ___ / ___ at ______
You do not have to prepare for the appointment.
Once the scan is over, go to Akutafdelingen (Emergency department), for the results of your scan.
